Blanca Varela (1926-2009) was an outstanding Peruvian poet, her poetry is sensual, romantic and playful, she is inspired by her intimacy, home, and the coast of Peru, the beach, Puerto Supe.

"Material Exercises" is a textile installation based on Blanca Varela's poem. Your house and the beach are present through the concept of sand and  window; metaphors to search, go through and find fragments about time, sexuality and death.
