RED NIGHT

2018 ​

Winner as part of the Textile Laboratory at the SIART 2018 International Art Biennial in La Paz, Bolivia.

"In this project we set out to make the body, the territory and the small daily rituals, a place of knowledge and bond deeply linked to nature. A ritual to the divinity of the earth with offerings that symbolize our context, our worlds and daily activity . "

In La Noche Roja he proposes a collective-participatory installation and ritual, where 3 women from different countries meet in La Paz to braid their fabrics. The mixed fabric placed on the ground becomes an offering, beginning a contemporary ritual of reconciliation with nature and ancestors.
